It’s not clear if you updated your iPhone’s operating system using iTunes or via OTA or over-the-air. If you used OTA, try restarting your phone then try updating again. Before starting the OTA update, check if you have a strong signal so you will have a stable connection during the downloading.

If you have a weak signal, you probably need to transfer to a different location where there is strong signal and then begin the OTA update.
