Can anyone help me get my printer connected to my Mac?

Hi,

My Brother HL-2030 printer stopped working after I installed an update using an Apple Software Update stating that files were unable to be found. I’m using MacOS 10.7.2.

To get my printer to start printing again, I uninstalled and reinstalled my printer but this did not make any difference.

I decided to download the latest drivers from the Brother website however this reinstalled the Brother Printer Software Update 2.8 back onto my Mac again.

I found a Brother Printer Software Update 2.7 and installed this version of the Update.

Unfortunately this older software update did not help and I’m still looking for a solution.

Can anyone help me get my printer connected to my Mac so I can print once again?

Hello,

Printer can cause a lot of pain, but with the appropriate driver you can install your printer with ease.
Look up this site,

Scroll down on the page, choose your operating system and you will get the newest driver which should work like a charm.

If this does not work, it could mean that windows does not work properly, so you may consider a full scan, disk cleanupdefragment.
