Hi all. I just purchased a chess pc game and installed it successfully in my pc. When I open the game, an error message pops up saying "Error 1721: There was a problem with this Windows Installer's Package and a program required to install this game could not be run”. What will I do? Is there a problem with the installation of the game or is it with my computer? Please help.

First is that you have not mentioned the name of the game, and neither the version. The game software shall require many other programmers which run side by side. It is the problem of installation perhaps. If the file you have got has the recommended settings that support the configuration of your system. The program if has installed successfully, has some problems with running a module. The windows installer might not have installed successfully. Then you shall see the true picture. It has to be sure that the program should run at a resolution supported by your software display version driver. If this is of then next time give all the details and let us know again.
