Dynamic CRM 4.0 has started an error…

Hi all,

One of our customer are getting the above mentioned error message when try to delete an order.

I have also tested his logon identification in several systems and it works very well.

He is using windows 7 as well as Norton antivirus installed on his PC.

Our CRM 4.0 server as well as rollup 16 has done.

I cleared each and every temp file from IE 7 browser > internet choices.

Then I disable windows fire wall, antivirus and all add INS from IE.

Still I get the same problem. Please help me to solve it.

Hello Charley,

The workaround to the error you are getting is as follows:

  • You will have to navigate to Settings  and then choose Customization,
  • After that you will click Customize the System.
  • And then you will open the CRM 2011 entity that is having issues , and then click Forms.
  • Next you will double-click the form to open the form customization window.
  • For each custom lookup fields, you will need to do the following:

    • Double-click to open.
    • Under Field Behaviour section in the Display tab, you will  untick the option Disable most recently used items for this field.
  • After that you can save and then publish your customisation without having any problems.
