Recently, I upgraded my iPhone 3G but I cannot get Redsn0w (v0. 9.6b6) to recognize the DFU state. I get the error message when I try to restart in DFU mode. I have spent many times to resolve this problem but I need your assistance to fix it. Any suggestion would be grateful to you.

DFU Mode Failed
No device detected. You probably misunderstood the instructions.
Please consult Google or You Tube for instructions on how to enter DFU mode.
DFU Mode Failed. Says No device detected
Please try the following solutions to the DFUÂ Mode Failed error:
1. Unplug and Re-plug your device from the PC and ensure that your data cable is working probably.Â
2.Make sure you are connected to the internet.
3.Also this error sometimes occurs when your Redsn0w is not up to date with the latest version so make sure it is.Â
DFU Mode Failed. Says No device detected
This problem a lot of times comes back to the usb ports and the cord you are using. Does the computer recognize the phone when plugged in normally? And is the usb port recognizing your device? I would try with a different cable first and if that didn't work I would try to download Redsnow from another source as that sometimes will help you avoid this error as well.
