Where can I get Samsung Galaxy S Google Talk application

A few days ago I have heard about a chatting software called Google Talk.

So I tried to download it on my Samsung Galaxy S but I could not find it.

Can you please tell me what is this software, and if it's nice and easy to use?

Please help me obtaining the Samsung Galaxy S Google Talk application because I have searched it, but I could not find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Where can I get Samsung Galaxy S Google Talk application

Hello Terry!

Google Talk it is indeed a very easy to use application, pretty basic and accessible. It works with a Google (Gmail) account, but you can also log in with Jabber, Pidgin, Miranda, Psi and Trillian accounts. All the chats will be saved on your Gmail account.

Recently, the Google guys made some changes, so they are trying to replace Google Talk with Google Hangouts pretty much the same thing, but more advanced and with more features.

They released a beta version to test video chats and calls.

Of course, you have plenty of other options if you decide Google Talk doesn't suit you. Many people use Kik Messenger, or Yahoo! Messenger for instant messaging, but also Whatsapp or Skype.
