Configuration Of Remote Desktop Grayed Out In Windows
This happens due to group policy settings.
The primary step is to run GP results on the PC. After running it, check that settings related to the issue are proper and you have enabled the entire necessary configuration.
Follow the below-mentioned steps if it does not solve the problem:
- Go the ‘Start’ Menu
- In the run box type ‘gpedit.msc’
- Press ‘Enter’
- Now go to ‘Computer Configuration,’ then ‘Administrative Templates,’ then ‘Windows Component,’ then ‘Remote Desktop Service.’
- In the Remote Desktop Service, go to ‘Desktop Session host’ and then go to ‘Connections.’
- On the right-hand side, enable the option for the users to connect using Terminal Service
Now, the problem should no longer exist.
