Hello,

I was trying to install Citrix EdgeSight Server 5.3 when the installation suffered a hitch and popped up an error preventing the setup from continuing. The error is shown below. Any solutions?

The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 28101.

Dear William,
Your answer have got its solution.
1. Add the roles IIS & Message Queuing on a stand-alone SQL Server.
2. Then, setup EdgeSight database individually.
3. Eliminate IIS & Message Queuing from this Database server without these roles.
Also, the setup file might be corrupted. So, get another fresh copy. This will work.
