How was Apple able to conceptualize their newly designed Nano sim and how long did it take them to finish?
Apple’s New Nano Sim design’s history
Currently, European Telecommunication Standard Institute (ETSI) has approved Apple’s new smaller SIM card known as the 4FF ( 4th Form Factor) or the NANO-SIM. This new SIM is 40% smaller than the current Micro-SIM in the market. This new designed SIM card will become the industry’s standard.
ETSI said that this NANO-SIM is designed to take up the amount of space inside a mobile thus this space is more useful for mobile devices that from time to time delivers more and more features. For example, if a mobile is using an NANO-SIM a bigger battery will be made to fit new smartphones and of course bigger battery with longer device usage. With these, the NANO-SIM will be for the betterment of future devices.
