The instruction at 0x77c81f70 referenced memory at 0xecffffff.

The memory could not be read.

The message always appears every time i try to install a new operating system to my new Desktop.

I don't know if its the memory or the motherboard that causes the problem.

This happens everytime i install an operating system.

My Desktop is new.

Does anyone know the answer to my problem?

Looking forward for your help.

Sometimes when you see an error where different memory addresses are involved you would immediately think that it is the hardware that has the problem.

That the RAM memory card might be broken and needs replacing. Since your desktop computer is new, it would be impossible to think that the installed RAM memory card in its CPU is broken.

Try checking the installer CD that you are using in installing Microsoft Windows operating system.

Maybe it’s what causing the problem. Check the CD’s data surface if there are deep scratches that might cause the data error.

If you can not find any problem on the installer CD, try using other Microsoft Windows installer CD and see if it has the same error. Maybe the problem is on the disc, it cannot read the data that is instructed in the memory on the disc.
