“Run” does not show in my start menu.

Every time I use ‘Run’ for some shortcut. Like notepad, calc, winword, excel and other programs.

Sometimes I go to the Windows direct link, use ‘run’ like temp, windows, recent but today, I lost my ‘Run’ from my start menu.

I have recently installed updated version of  Windows Live Messenger 2011 download from www.filehippo.com 
for  Microsoft Windows Vista. My contact list isn't shown and I am not able to chat with my friends which I added again though I have in my opened contact list.
