Keyboard Aspire One D257 does not work

My friend bought a laptop but confused how to type because the keys U, I, O, J, K, L, M does not work even though the function Fn + F11 (Num Lock) is disabled. Button only works if pressed together with Fn. Wifi problem in ubuntu 10.4

Hello,

I have a problem with WiFi. Since I updated to Ubuntu 10.4 I am unable to connect.
 
I uninstalled network manager and reinstalled but still the same problem is being faced.
