Hello,

I am currently involved in converting an existing web site to ASP.Net. The existing website is designed using classic ASP 3.0.

We are building new components in ASP.Net that require submitting information to existing ASP pages. There are pages that require the information to be "posted". That is, they should come in the "form" object in the request. I could not find a native .Net method of achieving a form post to a different URL within a .Net page.

I have found methods implemented in various forms. Some have used JavaScript, some have used an intermediate page and some have used a response.redirect and had modified the target page to read from a query string.

Hi,

I have been working on Oracle for quite sometime now. I have always used the DECODE function that represents IF-THEN-ELSE clause. I read somewhere that from Oracle 8i onwards CASE statement has been introduced to get the same result. But which one out of the two is better considering both are used to do the same task?

Hello everyone,

I have a table student where other that the student name, student id, subjects, marks details, I also store whether the student has some salary or not. This last field stores the salary amount if its valid in a particular student's case or it is NULL. Any pointers on this will be highly appreciated.

Hi there! I hope someone answers my query and helps me with it.

I have just setup my wireless network. I know my network's wireless settings (SSID, Channel, Wireless key…etc.). The problem is, I don't know how to connect my new Windows 7 computer to my wireless network.

The computer is using a built-in wireless card. If the computer is plugged directly to the router, it can go online, if I unplug it, it cannot go online.

I have a DSLR camera that uses an SD card to save my pictures into. So, I went to take pictures. I took alot of them pictures and of course I got good results, though I have to say that I am still a newbie.

Yesterday, I have to take the SD card out of my camera to do my routine maintenance checks. Everything went fine. I reinserted the card to the camera only to find out that the CARD is LOCKED!  Suddenly I cannot take any pictures anymore. It is always saying that the card is LOCKED!Please help me unlock it?

Hi,

In my office we are in a private wireless network, where we have 30 laptop PCs.  Now my boss wants to keep an eye on our office environment, using camera from abroad or anywhere else outside of our office.

Is it possible? As I am in a private network, how can anyone access that camera from outside of my network?
