(404 – Not found)

I keep on getting this message when I'm using the internet.  What does it mean?

Error 0x800CCC78 is the message I'm seeing once in a while when i use my computer..

What is this?

Where does this come from ?

I'm Sharif. I've a desktop & I'm using Windows XP on it. So far it was good but in recent times I'm troubled by an unwanted error message. That is "Windows generic host message".." Windows need to shutdown to resolve the error"… It often shows immediately after turning on the computer.

What is the problem & what can I do to get rid of this?

I bought a new 1 TB hard disc & installed windows 7 on it & at the time of installation 3 updates have been downloaded & installed. But after that windows update is not running, it always failed.

Windows Update cannot currently check for updates, because the service is not running. You need to restart your computer.

Please Help me out.

My operating system is windows 7. I have so many photos in my pc & I used to open those files via photo viewer.

But today I got a problem with photo viewer.

It is showing photoviewer.dll file is missing & the photo cannot be opened.
