Im seeing this number on my screen (ID=02). What is this? Can anyone help me fix this, as soon as possible..

Getting an ID message on my MAC
ID=02 is one of the error codes you may get in MAC OS, any version. This specific code is an "Address Error"Â
Â
So will see this particular error when the microprocessor tries to read or write a long word at an address which is not weird and unidentified. The microprocessor access memory with the following increments:

• 1 byte = 8 bits
• one word = 16 bits
• one long word = 32 bits.

Since the microprocessor can only access a word or long word at even memory address, this error comes up when this rule is not being followed.Â

A Mac’s system is very different from Windows operating system. I am lucky to access a Mac computer once and I was really confused on how to operate while in that environment.
