ID=02 is one of the error codes you may get in MAC OS, any version. This specific code is an "Address Error"

So will see this particular error when the microprocessor tries to read or write a long word at an address which is not weird and unidentified. The microprocessor access memory with the following increments:

• 1 byte = 8 bits
• one word = 16 bits
• one long word = 32 bits.

Since the microprocessor can only access a word or long word at even memory address, this error comes up when this rule is not being followed.

You may call Apple support for this type of error.

If you are getting that error in your computer often, you may try consulting other Mac users if this error also appears on their computer. A Mac’s system is very different from Windows operating system. I am lucky to access a Mac computer once and I was really confused on how to operate while in that environment.

If you think that message that appears in your screen is really an error, try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton SystemWorks, Norton Utilities, or PC Tools Performance Toolkit.
