I have lot of Hard Drive Space almost 60GB is free space in my computer but when I try to open QuickBooks then I receive this error. Please tell me why I receive this error. And how can I remove this error. All detail of error is given below for your understanding.

Your hard disk does not have enough space.

100 bytes are required to download the update. To free up space, remove files from your hard disk, then choose QuickBooks > Check for QuickBooks updates.

Good day Diana,

Your question is regarding you’re an error of “Quick Books” which is not opening due to low disk space. Now the problem is that even though you have enough (60 GB) free space available on your computer; still your program is not working. The solution to this problem is, you have not enough space in the directory or disk, where your program has been installed (mainly the disk where Windows is installed). You have to make sure that; there should be enough space in that particular drive where your software is located. By deleting the unnecessary files and components you can increase the available disk space. After doing so, your program will run fine.

Thank you

Is your application saved on or are the files associated with it saved on a different partition or on a network drive? If so, try and check the said partition or the network drive and make sure that it has enough space to accommodate the required free space by the application. If you only have one hard drive and one partition, please make sure that you DO have enough free space on that hard drive. If you do, it may also be likely that your application is corrupted or misconfigured that’s why it’s not reporting the right information. Try to uninstall and then reinstall the application and see if the problem is still present.
