I am trying to clone my HP Envy 14 hard disk onto an identical 500 GB hard disk with Acronis True Image Home 11. The HP source disk has 3 partitions: one Windows 7, one basic drive & one hidden. I tried to clone it using Acronis Rescue Media as well tried to swap my target drive leaving the source drive on an external connection namely USB. But the result is the same “ Clone failed”.
Is there any solution for it?

In your case. You cannot clone the drives, maybe because one of your drive is not well formatted. Try to format your drive using Windows XP format it with the NFTS none quick format and do not make any partition. Just format it or clean your drives using Antivirus and Tune Up Utilities or CCleaner.
Make sure that your drives are cleaned. Then try to clone after the drive is cleaned. Make sure that all your drives and cleaned already and ready to be cloned. In Acronis True Image use automatic partitioning. Let Acronis True Image make the partition for you and wait until Its done.
