Xperia x10 good deal and first smartphone?

Hello experts,

I am currently looking for a smartphone. But since it is quite expensive, I am still waiting for a price drop on some occassions. I searched on some smartphone which offers great deal such as Sony Xperia X10 for 100 Euros. This is refurbished so I don't expect much on it. This X10 has some minor scratches on screen. I want to know if this is a good deal. I am not into games or much applications. I just need some useful apps on Android that offers a great price. Also, can I unlock Xperia X10?
