I am using Xcelsius 2008 version, now want to connect it to the live data through a Query As A Web Service. I thoroughly study the tutorials but whenever I generate the WSDL link on the QaaWs and take import to it inside xcelsius it shows 'URL unable to Upload'. But, sincerely I tested all is Okay. Please somebody resolve this issue..

XCELSIUS 2008: URL UNABLE TO UPLOAD
You have said that you have been using Xcelsius 2008 version but at present you have expressed to link to the live data through an Query as a web service.Your URL will not upload because your URL is not webbased. If you have wanted to upgrade your URL via any type of application software you have need to have a top level domain.Either you don't have this domain creation you will fail to upload your URL.If the domain is always accessible at the Xcelsius 2008 you may have take the necessary action to upload the URL directly.
XCELSIUS 2008: URL UNABLE TO UPLOAD
I will recommend some workarounds for you to counter that problem, and they are as follows:
-
You will need to check if you have a firewall on your system, and if so you should try turning it off in case it is on now. The firewall may be blocking the connection of the application to the live data through the query as a web service as you are trying to do. Another thing that you will need to check is if the corresponding servers are up and running.
-
The second workaround to that problem will be to check the connection settings that you are using in your browser. You will need to make sure that in case you are using virtual private network, then proper settings have been configured for that. After setting the settings you can test the URL in that browser again, and in case it displays the QaaWS successfully, then the problem will have been solved.
