To prevent a DNS attack you need to keep your data in protected mode. Its usage needs to be restricted to users of your network to help prevent the cache being harmed by hackers outside of your organization. It should be confidential. You need to check the open resolvers of your network.
There are many ways to do it. First, by using a random source port, second by making the query Id random and third by making the case of the words random in the domain names that are sent out to be resolved.
