Hello there, I need assistance on recovering deleted data from qnap. My qnap device has been working well until yesterday’s power outage due to faulty wires. I have an external drive but I’m not sure if all drives are compatible with qnap. If this is not a suitable solution, help me with out with other options. Â

Hello,
If you are using an external drive then you can connect it to your PC and use a simple tool called Recuva. This tool will scan your hard drive and find all the files which were deleted. You won't be able to restore all the files, but you can restore around 95% of them since your files are only lost if you write something over the space where the were previously on the hard drive. Recuva supports all kinds of files so you'll be happy with it. Regards.
