The wireless connectivity problem on Lenovo t61 windows 7

I’m suffering from  a wireless connectivity problem on my Lenovo t61 windows 7.

When I connect to Wifi, initially I can connect, but after about 10 to 15 minutes, the connection is gone. Then I would try to connect again, then after 15 minutes gone again, and so forth and so on.

I don’t think that the problem is on the WiFi connection because my iPhone can connect to the same wifi without the sweat.

Any idea what seem to be wrong with my Lenovo t61 windows 7?

Anyone who had the same experience before?

Hi Cyril L Edmonds,

It seems the connection issue is intermittent and is just evident only on your Lenovo. This could be caused by a corrupted wireless driver or a faulty wireless card. Update your wireless card driver from the Lenovo website first.

(Download the latest release which is dated, 26 May 2011)

After updating, reboot your computer and reconnect to your wireless network and observe the connection.
While observing the connection, make sure that your antivirus is shut off temporarily since it could be blocking the network traffic.

If the problem persists, its possible that the wireless card needs to be replaced.
