Hello Expert friends,

When I try to make movie in windows moviemaker I ended up with an error message. The error states that the duration of a transition must be between 0.04 and 10 seconds. I checked it and it was between that, but still I get this error message. I am not able to track the error. Please help me. Thanks.

In Windows Movie Maker, project text file contains all data about your project, including the duration of all transitions. If you manually change this duration and the error still persists, try lowering your hardware acceleration to "None" by doing the following steps:

1. Right click on your Desktop, click "Properties", click "Settings" and click "Advanced"

2. Click "Troubleshoot" and reduce the "Hardware acceleration" slider to "None". Click "Apply".

3. Try using transitions in Windows Movie Maker by making a new project.

If the error persists, you are most likely looking at corrupted transitions file. In that case, only reinstallation of the Windows Movie Maker will help.
