When I attempt to open windows live messenger there is always a message appears that I need to install it but the thing is I already installed it in my.

How get rid with this problem?

Windows Live Messenger Problem Encountered

1. In the notification area on the taskbar (near the clock), click the Messenger icon, and then click Exit.

2. On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Control Panel.

 

3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.

 

4. Under Currently installed programs, click Windows Live Messenger, and then click Change.

 

5. Click Repair.

Windows Live Messenger Problem Encountered

If you have strictly followed the installation procedure yet you still encounter a problem, try checking your computer for programs that hinders installation of new programs.

A typical example is deep freeze.

Everytime you install, update or make any configuration when your system is frozen, automatically upon restart, you need to reinstall it. There are also antivirus applications or security suites that also causes problems such as yours.

It helps to disable these if they're running when you install windows live messenger.
