I bought my computer a year ago. I've got an issue and it started after booting to Windows 7 64-bit. It freezes automatically after 30-minutes of inactivity. I will usually force restart my computer to go back to its normal state. I don't know what is causing this. Can anyone help me to solve this issue?

Hello Jason,

The problem you are facing is caused mostly due to virus.

First of all you need a good antivirus to remove the virus, for that I recommend you NORTON antivirus. Here's the download link

After downloading it, do a full system scan. Most probably your problem will be solved.

If your problem still persists, then chances are that your Operating System is corrupt. To overcome this you need to restore your OS. Follow the steps given in the link to restore your OS.

If the problem is still not solved then message me, I will try to help you further.

Hi,

This is a very common problem, generally it happens due to lack of proper shutdowns of the PC.  First of all try replacing the ram into another slot, wait for 1 hour( let the PC cool ) and restart.  Always connect the PC to the UPS backup, just to stay away from power cuts and voltage fluctuations.

The other problem could be due to dust on the motherboard parts, just clean on weekends. Make sure you clean the jammed dust inside the CPU fan. Also keep check on the automatic windows updates, sometimes they can be cause of concern.

Freezing and lagging are general symptoms of virus and other Malware in your computer and I would suggest you to get an antivirus program I would suggest Quick heal or Kasper-sky antivirus program.

You can try the Kaspersky 30 days trial version from here. Also try fixing DLL problems in your registry which in many cases might also lead to the cause:

Free DLL fixer.

I hope this helped.
