Will Copy commander 9 save even the partition?

I'm thinking of using Copy Commander 9 to transfer all files and data from my HDD to an external HDD for back-up.  Does it copy even the partition without losing data and preferences?  I have a 500GB Hitachi internal HDD and 1 TB Seagate external HDD.  Thanks.

Hi Michele,

The answer to your question is yes. WIth Copy Commander 9, you can easily create a new partition in your external HDD and keep all your files there. However, your preferences and settings will not be saved as your External HDD is not administered by the same user as your Internal HDD's; that is, the administrator of your external HDD is not the same as your internal one.
