A new device Casio Paper Writer is coming to Japanese market very soon. But what kind on benefit is it going to provide?

Will Casio Paper Writer be used only for writing?

Hello Marie,

Casio Writer is an Android tablet with 10" screen and a 1.5GHz processor. It comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. It runs with a 5-Megapixel camera that snaps your notes written on a paper. It has its own custom case that can start the camera just by closing half of the case. The other half of the case has its own notepad that you can use when you want to write something.

The nicest part is that, you can easily snap a picture of your documents and make it digital.

Hi,

Sure, Casio is jumping into the bandwagon as it now also offers tablets to compete with the current demand. But Apart from its specs – Android Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, camera, etc – it provides something distinct. Along with its package is atraditional paper sitting side-by-side with the tablet.

The purpose of it is to automatically transfer whatever is written on the paper to the tablet as a digital version. This is something no one has offered and can be pretty impressive for a tablet.
