Hi to every one. I am facing very serious problem with my USB as it has been corrupted or some thing else has happened which I can not fix yet. My PC detects USB Mass storage device but can not open it showing message “Inert a disk into drive G”. Formatting USB also displays error. While in USB device properties it shows memory bar of correct data size (as my USB drive is 4 GB). Is there any memory bar error or my USB is corrupted? Some idea please.

Hi dear Orlaandoaddison,

Thank you for your question. There are several reason behind this. The thing are-

The pen drive can the corrupted by virus.

In this regards you can use any antivirus to delete the virus. Or you can format it.

If there is any important document exist, then use the file recovery software.

The another cause can be- your pendrives usb port / computers port can be corrupt.

To bypass this, you should use your pendrive in another usb port in the computer.
