Hello,

There are several causes that your USB ports won’t work anymore. Follow these steps and your PC should be in health again.

First, make sure that you didn’t make any change to your BIOS. It’s very important because disabling USB ports from BIOS means no USB port is going to be recognized. Restart your PC, when the BIOS icon flashes on screen, press the button to go inside BIOS settings. Find out the option that says to load BIOS to factory settings and then restart your PC.

Secondly, unplug your PC from your power supply. It will disconnect all the power supply to your motherboard which will make the motherboard load the drivers of all hardware again and function properly.

Also, make sure that the port you’re trying to input your device isn’t damaged. Try another port or connect your device to other PC. If the device is bad, this problem might occur, too.
