Leon,

Noise coming from the CPU's fan can be produced because of the following:

1. Some dirt has been accumulated on the fan's shaft and parts. You can try to clean it may be with a small brush or you can use some pressure air that comes in bottles. Be sure to unplug the computer from the outlet before you try this.

2. Your fan needs to be replaced. You can find it in a PC store. It is not difficult to do it. There some brackets to open to remove it from your CPU and maybe a couple of screws .

Hope this helps.

Hi there, this means that your PC needs a clean up yes the dust may be the reason that is allowing the CPU to make sound also this problem is encountered when your PC is forced to work more and more than what it can bear I mean running too many programs at a time will also cause this to happen. Hope this helps.
