I have Windows XP 64-bit and Firefox Portable 14.0.1 32-bit.
I have also installed GOM-player, but I am having sound problems. When I try to watch a video, the video is fine, but the audio is all scratchy!

We have the same software GOM Player. It is a free player for video and media player that provides high-class playback, simple optimization, and a smooth interface. I also encountered the same problem as yours, it is not rooted in your GOM Player software, it’s nothing to do with it, it is the video itself, and maybe the copy of the video is not good in terms of audio.Â

There might be many reasons for which your GOM player is having a big problem in it. The audio codec should be okay and also make sure of the sound system. Otherwise follow the links for further troubleshooting:
