Hi Oliviarwilkes,

It's pretty common for Microsoft support & recommends IE for their any product. In the case of Microsoft CRM 2011 it's a bit of both. Microsoft does not support & some functionality of Mozilla Firefox is restricting it to do so.

Having said that you will be happy to know that Microsoft start supporting Mozilla from Update Rollup 12 of their Dynamics CRM 2011. You haven't mentioned the which version of Update Rollup you are using. If you are using previous please first roll out the Update Rollup 12 in your system.

Then you need to tweak Mozilla Firefox a little bit to support it fully.

You can easily follow the below steps & configure it properly.

Step 1: Go to the URL: 'about:config' in Firefox.

Step 2: There might be a warning message 'This might void your warranty!', just select 'I'll be careful, I promise!'.

Step 3: Then find the property of network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris string.

Step 4: You need to enter the URL address of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM website in the 'Enter String Value' option.

Step 5: Then click 'ok'.

Step 6: Restart the Firefox.

Best of luck with the configuration.

Thanks & Regards,

DBD
