Good Day,

Apple has revoked the auto start feature of applications in their system a long time ago for security reasons, even though it's convenient for the users.

The best thing you can do is to open the USB/CD folder directly in the desktop.

HI

The USB drive you are using will auto run on Mac. But it will auto run if you have an autorun.info file in your usb drive. Plug in the usb drive and the drive will shown on the Desktop on your Mac, You can access the usb disk contents from there. This is a also a security feature on Mac
