Hi Experts,

While installing PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer I received the error message.

I cannot understand the configuration and others details mentioned in the message.

Have a look at the message.

Please help.

Dashboard Designer

This data source cannot be used because PerformancePoint Services is not configured correctly. Additional details have been logged for your administrator.

Hello Hunter,

In order to resolve the error that you are getting , you will need to set unattended service account for Performance Point Services, which is a shared domain account that is used for accessing Performance Point Services data sources.

Hi there user:

Check the Unattended Service Account. Set it up by way of enabling the ‘Full Control to the Unattended Service Account user.’

Central Administration > Application Management > Manage Service Application > Performance Point Service ApplicationàAdministrator > Add Unattended Service Account (Mark the Full Control).

Now test the result. If after this you’re still getting the error, please post again.
