While installing Corel Draw Graphics Suite X5 I received an error message

Hi Experts,

While installing Corel Draw Graphics Suite X5 I received an error message. The screenshot of the error message is attached herewith. It faced an application error.

What does it mean by ‘exception unknown software exception’? If you have any idea for the issue, please help.

Setup.exe-Application Error

The Exception unknown software exception (0x40000015) occurred in the application at location 0x0045cdde.

Click on OK to terminate the program

Click on cancel to debug the program

Hi Martin,

The kind of error  you are facing  during the installation of Corel Draw Graphics Suite X5  is generated because the application that you are installing is not installed successfully. This message will prevent you to perform  further  task .  Technical meaning of this error is STATUS_FATAL_APP_EXIT . This mean program is terminated . This error is commonly generated if your system is having corrupt registry entries.  Here is the procedure to solve this problem.

1.       Download the Registry Scan Tool.

2.       Install  Registry Scan Tool.

3.       Run the program and click on  “Scan Your Registry ” Button. Wait the program to finish scan.

4.       Click the “Repair” button to fix the errors.

While installing Corel Draw Graphics Suite X5 I received an error message

See that you have all the permissions for the installation of the program. Making a change in registry of OS requires permission and if you have no permission to do then you will not be able to solve this problem. Anyhow you can run in safe mode to install the program also disable the firewall to install the software and finally check the program that it is a valid program you are trying to install.
