There are a number of queries in my mind related to Microsoft DOS command infopath. How we can identify the location where Microsoft DOS looks while using a command? How we can display or set a search path for the executable files ? What is the limit for path and command in MS-DOS, can we reset the limit?

Hi Olivia,
A path is used to specify the location of what the MS DOS looks when you use this command. When you type in a command and did not specify the location you will receive a bad command. You should know the location of the file being found or if not familiar you can use cd or look in the root drive. You can use this command %Path% to look for executable file, 256 characters is the limit for the Path command.
