So, I have a full HD video and I want to burn it to a blu-ray disc and see how to looks on other devices apart from PC. I want to try it on PS3, PS4 and a normal blu-ray player. Which is the best file format to burn videos to a blu-ray disc?

There are many file formats to burn videos to a blu-ray disc.

 

Most used file formats are '.mkv' or 'mp4'. Both file format maintain the video quality of your file without affecting on the video pixel or quality. 

 

Burning software also plays an important role in video quality after burnination. I suggest you to use 'Ashampoo burning studio' or 'Abode premiere' both provide best video quality and fast burnination.

File format compatible with Bluray disc is AVCHD.

You can also watch videos, images and listen to audios on a Blu ray disc player from USB or DLNA devices.

To access media files over your network from other devices that are DLNA enabled, such as Play Station3 or PC, use DLNA feature.

In a USB input of a Blu ray disc player, connect the USB devices, such as MP3 player, digital camera, or any USB storage device
