Where to find Anti Virus Scan Results

Hello! I’ve been using AVAST Anti-virus scanner my problem is I scheduled the scan every Monday, as it scans it doesn’t show any signs that it is already running I just knew it when its done because it signals finished scanning and when I open it to check if there is any detected virus, I cant find its results. Is it really like that or it will show if there is any scanned virus? Is there a possibility that my anti virus is damaged?

Please Help.

Where to find Anti Virus Scan Results

Hello Rhon,

When the AVAST Anti-virus ends the scanning process, if there are existing threats to your computer they will appear  as a red  number or numbers  in from of the infected files option.

In the scan computer feature , you will find under every start scanning button a bluish selection that says settings, click on it and search the report file option, there you can generate the way you want and what  to be reported to you.

You can eliminate all of those viruses by opening the settings option of AVAST, once there look for virus alerts and select it ,  you can then choose which virus to eliminate.

As a last recommendation, check the auto- updating feature is on, if not, change it or do the updating manually if the problem persists.

Hello,

Every antivirus must shows scan result. Even that find any virus in system or not. I am sure that there is some problem with your antivirus. You must have to uninstall AVAST and find some other antivirus that suits you best. I prefer Microsoft Security Essentials and NOD32 is also very great to use.
