I have a one domain with website but I would like to make 5 website in using that domain name so I have to make subdomain but I did not know the process.

I need to know the details process so that I can make it personally without any damaging my present website.

What is the process of subdomain making?

Subdomains are used for organizing your website content.

Your subdomains are like folders in your root directory but you will need a different url to access your subdomain.

For example if your website is:

https://ww38.yoursite.com/

Then your subdomain will be like:

https://ww38.services.yoursite.com/

Creating subdomains depends on your web hosting company and this feature should be enabled in your control panel.

Here is the procedure:

After logging in to your account, click on subdomain manager

Now a new window will open from where you can add a new subdomain to your domain name.

What is the process of subdomain making?

Hi

If the hosting you are using is a cpanel. Then

Navigate it to your section known as domains. Then click on the sub domain button,

You will see text box that is empty followed by a 2nd one with the main domain name in it.

Type your domain name. You will see option “Document root” enter in the name of the folder

You would like the files to reside in for your domain.

Make it easy one then press CREATE button and note that some host will require 2- username to

have a sub domain,
