What is needed to upgrade Configuration Manager to the latest version?

Hi! I intend to upgrade the Configuration Manager to a later version because I want to raise my Active Directory domain and the forest functional level. Does anybody know if I also need to upgrade the schema for the Configuration Manager?

Hallo Carolyn,

I am not sure if you will need to upgrade the schema of the configuration manager too during the upgrade of the configuration manager, but some of the things that I am sure you have to put into consideration include the verification of the vendor, the references for installation which include the release notes, the methodologies that will be used in performing the upgrade and also the requirements needed for testing.

The upgrade will also be dependent on the type of network you are using and the software and hardware types that you are using on the network.
