What is Megabox music service?

Is this an another service from Megaupload.com.

I heard the founder and CEO of that company are going to provide one more service which they named it as Megabox,

I want to know what services it will provide to us.

What is Megabox music service?

Megabox Music Service is another megaupload-style file sharing service developed by Dotcom and will be launch this year.

It is a platform allowing recording artists to directly sell their music to consumers wherein the artist will get 90% of their music earnings.

Megabox also designed with a system termed as “megakey”, allowing Megabox to pay artist royalties every time music enthusiast download free commercial music

What is Megabox music service?

Megabox is a music-focused venture and it is the latest addition from Kim Dotcom that will be launching this year.

The popular Megaupload was shut down by U.S and New Zealand Authorities because of copyright infringement charges, despite of this issue; Dotcom is still working hard to launch this newest web-based music service.

In Megabox, artists can be able to sell their music to consumers directly that allows them to have 90% earnings. Dotcom says, Megabox will also have a feature called "Megakey" that lets Megabox pay artists royalties even though the commercial music are free to download.

It is true that MEGAUPLOAD will have a new music service called Megabox. Megabox will enable artists to sell their products directly to consumers – which will allow them to keep 90% of earnings.

It would comprise a system called the Megakey – this would allow Megabox to pay artists royalties regardless of whether users download commercial music free of charge.

Kim Dotcom, the founder of Megaupload, plans for the music service were disrupted in January when he was arrested due to a US investigation into suspected copyright theft.

However, Dotcom, who is free on bail, on Monday, said on Twitter that Megabox would launch in 2012.
