Hi,

When you change your data connection from the 3G or HSPA to the new LTE 4G, it is quite similar to the change your old dial-up internet connection to a broadband connection.

With 4 G (LTE) you will have access to high data rates that enables you to make HD video streaming, high def. pictures downloads, more surfing and more downloads, this will consume large amount of Data, hence you will need to choose your data plan carefully.

If you don’t want to spend a lot on your data plan, AT&T have a $15 data plan with 250 MB a month, if you add $5 ($25) you can get a 750 MB of data a month at Verizon, but If you are moderated user, so you do better to check at AT&T, actually AT&T has a good deal for you, for $30 a month, you will get 3 GB data plan.

Thank you

I don’t think there is a difference when changing from one network type to another for the internet browsing. It’s only the network that changed and not the service or the device. The 4G network is only available in 4G-capable devices and the 3G network is for 3G devices. If your wireless broadband modem is only 3G, it means it can only connect up to the third generation type of network.

You can use network types from GPRS, EDGE, and 3G which is the fastest of the 3. But you cannot connect to 4G network since it is not supported by the device and also because this type doesn’t have the capacity to search for 4G networks. Of course, GPRS is the slowest since it is the earliest form of cellular network. In a 4G-capable device, you can connect to all of these 3 network types up to 4G of course, which makes it even the fastest compared to 3G.
