I am using iPhone 3G5. After completing the up gradation, all contacts are missing.
When I am trying to synchronise contacts, it is in disable mode.
I don’t know what happened as I am sure that it is not deleted or disabled. What might be the caused?
Thank you.

What may be the cause of missing contacts after upgraded to V5?
Hello Rowena,
The contacts may not be missing. You may not be seeing them just because your phone isn’t done syncing yet. Just use the following procedure to synchronize the phone:
-
With your phone turned on connect it to iTunes
-
Look for the left panel under devices, on your iphone and click on it.
-
And then Click “Sync” in the lower right corner.
You should allow the phone some time to restore, since it is a fresh installation you should not interrupt the process because end up not having all your apps, settings, songs, and so forth.
You can also try fixing the problem by going into the “Mail, Contacts & Calendar” settings, and when there click on “Import SIM Contacts”, see it works for you that way.

You should restore your contacts from backup. Connect your iPhone to computer. Start iTunes, right-click (or Control-click) on your iPhone and choose Restore from Backup.
Also, you can try, while phone connected and with iTunes on, to click to device, go to Info section, and to select from a drop-down list “Sync from Windows contacts”.
