I am using the windows for a long time without any problem. Now when I am trying to install the updates, it is giving the windows activation error code 0x80072efe and shows installation failed. What is the meaning of this error and how to get solved from this error and update it?
The error usually occurs when there is a problem in connecting to windows to the Microsoft Windows update server. Sometimes incorrect date and time formate also causes the error. Change the date and time with the user having admin privileges. You should turn off the windows firewall and try to update it. Even it works or won’t work firewall should be on later. If you have any other antiviruses, then turn them off and try. Once run a cleaner and check for any malware and missing files.
