My Windows Update is not working. The update stops throwing an 80072f8f error. Is there any solution for this error as the Windows Update troubleshooter is not working.?
Method 1
a. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
b. Type timedate.cpl and press enter.
c. Go to the Date and Time tab.
d. Click on the Change date and time button.
e. Set the correct date and time -> Click OK.
f. Come back to the above Window.
g. Go to the Change time zone.
h. Set your time zone.
i. Tick the check box.
j. Click on Ok.
k. Go back to the Date and time window.
l. Open the Internet Time tab.
m. Click on Change settings.
n. Tick the Synchronize with an Internet time server.
o. Select the time.windows.com server from the drop-down.
p. Click on Update now.
q. Click OK.
r. Restart your device.
s. Run the update.
Method 2
a. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
b. Type inetcpl.cpl and press enter.
c. Go to the Connections tab.
d. Open the LAN settings.
e. Untick the check box shown in the image.
f. Click on Ok.
g. Restart your device.
h. Try to update Windows.
