I need a sound card for microphone recording. My current sound card produces a hissing noise when I plug in the microphone so I think it is time to get a new one. What sound card would be best for professional sound card recording?

Purchasing a new sound card usually depends on how much you are willing to spend. A professional sound card can reach even $1500.
