It is not much complicated thing to know about the bad sectors.

The bad sectors are those sectors on the hard disk which are physically damaged.

In other way, we can say that the bad sectors are the scratches of the surface of hard disk.

This is due to regular restart of computer sudden shutdown and over usage of some data in hard disk.

For example, if you play a song again and again, you will see that the song is started stilling.

The bad sectors damage the area of hard disk and make it unreadable.

Sometimes the bad sectors can cause of the permanent failure of hard disk.
