WD Cloud not recognising external USB drive

I own the WD Cloud device 2TB and a while ago I bought a WD Green 2TB that now lives inside a Logilink UA0107 USB 3 case. Although the drive is perfectly usable through Windows 8 and Ubuntu box, WD Cloud refuses to recognize it. I've formatted the drive a few times (exFAT, NTFS, ext4) but nothing changed. What can be done?

WD Cloud not recognising external USB drive

Hello Moses E Harrell,  WD is one of the famous brands today in world of hard disk. They offer best quality with very less cost. You have problem of don't recognize the system. This is very rare problem. Technically there should be no problem in WD. I think the problem is in your connecting wire. May be wire did not getting the full power and it results to not spinning fully the disk. you should change the connecting wire.
