I need to extend volume in Windows 7 to allocate different spaces for various folder types. I don’t know where to start or to end. Can anyone come to my aid?

Ways To Extend Volume In Windows 7 With Ease.

You can try Diskpart.exe to manage partitions, disks and volume in Windows Server 2003 using the command-line interface.

1. Open command prompt and type diskpart.exe and Enter list volume which displays existing volume.
2. Enter Select Volume number where it represents the volume to be extended.
3. Then, type extend [size=a][disk=a][noerr]. Write the value of “a” according to the requirement.
4. Type exit.

You can also use EaseUS partition tool or built-in Disk Management.
