Hi experts,

I have bought Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate 2013 and when I tried to install it I skipped some required components and I had this error. Now is not working at all even when I want to make a full install on my Windows 8. Can anyone help me please to install Visual Studio properly ? What I did wrong first time ?

Thanks !

I’m sorry but no, you cannot do that. When installing any applications that require installing other software components, installing the required programs need to be followed otherwise your installation may not push through because the requirements are not met. To properly install a particular application, all the requirements listed in the system requirements need to be followed.

Ignoring to install a particular program component may result to instability or may display odd behavior when used. In your case, skipping several of the components during the installation is a bad idea because the installation will fail just like what happened. To fix it, you need to restart the installation and don’t ever skip any components in the installation or else the installation will fail again.

If the said component needs to be installed separately which you haven’t done yet, cancel the installation for Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate and install that component. If there are still other components that need to be installed manually, you need to install them all first before continuing with the installation. Check the system requirements of Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate again to make sure you meet all the requirements.
